About Green Dog Inc.

Brenda Lang, Owner (pictured with Molly and Sam)

I have studied the benefits of a holistic lifestyle for myself and my dogs: Sam, Wally, and Gertie. My deep love of animals and desire to provide a healthy place to care for them led me to open Green Dog Inc. in 2006.

Through years of taking my dogs to daycare, I have realized the importance of exercise, pack companionship, and a low stress environment. My passion extends to helping some of Chicago’s neediest animals at Chicago Animal Care & Control where I have volunteered since 2000.

I currently serve both as a Board Member and on the Foster Program Committee for Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control.
